A Family Photoshoot is the perfect way to celebrate your family and document memories in photographs.
I provide a relaxed environment to get photographs that truly capture each of your personalities with. A selection of toys, hats and costumes keep the kids (and adults alike) laughing and smiling throughout.
Pets are also always welcome because, after all, they’re part of the family too and deserve to be placed on the wall in pride of place. I also offer dedicated Pet Photo Shoots, where Rover can truly be the star.

If you prefer a more natural backdrop for your family photoshoot i’m always happy to work outdoors and find locations such as Kinver Edge the perfect place to let kids just run and be free.
Tree climbing, puddle jumping, hide and seek, let’s do it all and have an adventure! All the while getting the most natural smiles along the way.
I love working outdoors and often work at Arley Arboretum & Bodenham Arboretum which both offer idyllic views and the perfect backdrop for family fun.
If you have somewhere else in mind though, i’m always open to ideas and love putting your favourite places into your pictures.

Would highly recommend Daniel for a photo shoot. My little one is very nervous in new surroundings and meeting new people. My canvas prints are hand-stretched with hand-folded corners & flawlessly finished on chunky 38mm pine frames. Carefully finished with framing tape and printed with inks that will last 100 years without fading they come with a 10 year guarantee and start at £100.

A relaxed and casual approach to my family photoshoots come with an emphasis on comfort and cosiness. I want you to enjoy your session and be talking about it, and the pictures for years to come. Music, props and bad dad jokes aplenty will keep you smiling naturally throughout, no cheesy smiles I promise. If we have an Outdoor Photo Shoot scheduled and the weather isn’t playing ball (which, let’s face it is often the case in England) then I will happily re-schedule or change it to a Studio Shoot instead if you prefer.
Bold and bright is always a winner. For outdoor Photo Shoots it doesn’t matter what colours you wear but for Studio shoots I recommend keeping away from white as it can make you look a little washed out against the white backdrop. Finally keeping it clean without big brand logos across your clothing helps to retain a timeless quality to the images.
Family Photoshoots are set for 1 hour which is divided roughly like this. The first 5-10 minutes is getting you and your family settled (especially important with young children) and explaining how the photo shoot works. This is followed by 20-40 minutes of photography which will include different poses and groups to maximise the time. The remaining time is then used to talk about what will happen going forward with editing, your Online Gallery and to book in your Viewing Experience.
I love a challenge and I love my job. I really enjoy working with children that are maybe a little shy or even don’t like having their picture taken as it makes it all the more rewarding when the smiles start flowing. It’s about identifying what makes your child tick and then identifying how to get the best out of them.
Absolutely, my Photography Studio is a large converted double garage which means it’s all on ground level and fully accessible.
Your Online Gallery goes live a few days before your Viewing Experience and gives you the chance to look at your images on a private website from the comfort of your own home.
The Viewing Experience takes place at my shop in Kinver and gives you the chance the relax and see your images on the big screen. After a slideshow of your photographs I will guide you through product samples I have including print, digital and canvas options available to you (with absolutely no pressured sales).
If you don’t want to be in any of the pictures that’s no problem, I also offer Child & Baby Photo Shoots which focus the hour 100% on the kids giving plenty of chances for different poses and outfit changes. Also when birthdays come along then a Cake Smash Photo Shoot can make for a fantastically fun set of photographs and a great experience for kids.
