Outdoor Kids Photo Shoot with Kindred & Hugo

We recently pulled on our wellies and walking boots to scout out a new outdoor photo shoot location. 

Kinver Edge is a wonderful place but variety is the spice of life so we were very excited to discover the little gem Kingsford Forest just up the road (and still close enough for a sausage sandwich at Kinver Edge Cafe afterwards!)

With the autumn weather starting to set in, and in need of a new print for our own living room, we dressed the kids in their new autumnal outfits and set out looking for mushrooms and pinecones.  Kindred was very excited to debut her new sunflower dress. We were lucky to have weather good enough that we weren’t bundled up in coats, and warm enough that we could take our time and soak in this special place that I’m sure will become a favourite walking and photography spot.  The kids were able to run and climb, as well as collect treasures in their baskets.  They are a favourite prop for this time of year and collect everything from blackberries to pinecones while playing spot the mushrooms.

The wonderful location made for some lovely photographs of our growing duo.  They happily played in the sand and walked hand in hand in the dappled sunshine.  We’re finding it hard to pick a single photo for the wall!
