Back in 2007 I took the plunge and opened Daniel James Photography. Fresh out of university and with not a clue what to do other than a passion for photography and an opportunity to open a shop in Chenevare Mews Shopping Alley in my home village of Kinver.
Along the way, I’ve made some mistakes, and I’ve learned a lot about business and making sure my customers are happy with the service I’m providing. Aside from Studio & Outdoor Photography, over the years I’ve expanded the photography services I offer to include Passport Photographs, Slide Scanning, Video Transfer & Cine Film Transfer, Picture Framing, and more.
14 years later and I’m really happy to be able to add more options for my customers in the form of ‘Square’ a range of new sizes for canvases and framed pictures as well as beautifully finished Aluminium prints.
2021 hasn’t been without its challenges though, with lockdowns and my family getting covid (forcing the business to close for 2 weeks) it’s nice to celebrate this milestone for the business and also welcome my wife to the company who is working part-time doing the marketing and photo restorations.
