Redhouse Barn is a stunning wedding venue in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire and was the setting for Emma & Dan’s Wedding back in December last year.
We arrived early to find the bride-to-be Emma fighting off a cold with Emma & Dan’s little boy Harry also struggling with chicken pox and so while it wasn’t the greatest start health wise, everyone was still in high spirits and nervously looking forward to the day ahead.
As you can see from the photographs Emma looked stunning in her dress with dapper Dan also looking very smart in his suit. While many of us (myself included at my wedding) are often frantically running around chasing suppliers for the wedding, Emma actually found time to hand-make the cupcakes as well as the monster mega-cupcake to go on top of the tower for their wedding which looked very impressive!
What we love about winter weddings is when the happy couple embrace the season and Emma & Dan did this perfectly using pine cones on the tables and in the bouquets as well as theming the tables around christmas films (Die Hard being number one and top table of course).
The day went fantastically despite the wet weather keeping us inside for photos the gorgeous Redhouse Barn didn’t fail in providing plenty of photo opportunities to capture the happiness of the newlyweds and giving us plenty of chances to use their festive decorations.
After the meal it was time for the speeches and, much to the grooms surprise, the best man had organised a slideshow of old photos in a ‘this is your life’ style which is always great fun.
Emma & Dan, thank you for asking us to capture your wedding day, we wish you every happiness in your new lives together!
