Another week and my final week as a twenty-something, this week featuring skulls, dogs and flashy flowers.

43/365 – ‘Square Eyes’
A simple shot of Leo my parents Golden Retriever, deeply engrossed in what was on the TV.

44/365 – ‘Calavera’
A bit of a strange subject but this is an Ojime bead which is a Japanese cord fastener that is carved into a particular symbol. This particular one is carved into a skull and to me looks rather than Manuel “Manny” Calavera from the game Grim Fandango, the word Calavera also means Skull in Spanish.

45/365 – ‘Our Green and Pleasant Land’
A simple landscape using the trees to lead you down the image through the fields, it just seemed too nice a day not to capture a fairly obvious shot representing how beautiful and green England can be (when the weather is behaving itself).

46/365 – ‘Trust No One’
A strange phrase, scratched into a piece of metal, found amongst the mens workspaces at my Dad’s factory.

47/365 – ‘Night Light’
Shot with an off-camera flash pointed at the flower to light up the petals and catch the edges of the leaves, there’s a full tutorial on how I captured this image over at ‘Flash Flower Power’

48/365 – ‘Alley Cat’
One of many of the Stourbridge graffiti cats that have sprayed on walls all over the town.

49/365 – ‘Cheers’
A pre-birthday drink with my Wife before we went out with friends for a meal and a movie (Deadpool – because i’m a big comic book nerd really).
