36/365 – ‘Knife Edge’
Today I decided to practice a bit of manual focus by attempting to photograph the end of a knife, partly linked to a lecture for the upcoming The Ultimate Beginners Guide to Photography course.
37/365 – ‘Guitar’
A visit to my Aunt & Uncles house and this beautiful instrument in the corner seemed to cry out for a photo but I wanted something a bit different and so I decided to focus purely upon the one string and shoot it at a bit of an unusual angle.
38/365 – ‘Bubbles’
A little lazy some may argue, just after washing up I snapped this photo of the bubbles in the washing up bowl with an exaggerated shallow depth of field.
39/365 – ‘Tempus Fugit’
This year already seems to be throwing a lot of curve balls and it’s only February, sometimes it really does feel like time is flying past.
40/365 – ‘Poison’
A trying day, personally, to say the least, slightly eased by a cold beer after work. Here’s a macro shot of the bottle taken at a slightly abstract angle.
41/365 – ‘Joe’
This was one of those rare moments where there was a burst of sun shining through the window and my wife put a cup of coffee down on the table in front of it. The combination of the light and hot coffee meant the steam coming off it was nice and clear and so I took this shot.
42/365 – ‘The Bandit’
Something a bit different to finish the week. This little blue tit was caught in the act, eating the peanuts from the feeder and posing rather nicely. Taken with my telephoto lens so I could be nice and far back and not scare the little guy.
