We’re thrilled to add another video format to our Video to DVD Service, this time in the form of Sony’s Digital 8 or D8, format which was introduced in 1999 and combined the Hi8 with a DV Codec on an 8mm tape (Wiki).
Adding this to our setup allows us to convert your Digital 8 home videos into DVD format, helping to preserve the video and give it a new life in the newer Digital DVD format.
This new addition joins our many other video formats which include VHS, VHS-S, VHS-C, MiniDV, 8mm / Hi8, AVCHD (Camera Hard Drive), Memory Cards and Cine Film all of which we can convert to DVD (all on-site, with the exception of Cine Film which is converted locally with a trusted supplier).
We don’t just limit our conversion services to video though as we’re also able to convert Audio Cassettes to CD as well as Fixing Corrupt video footage and Memory Card Data Recovery.
For those of you with footage from ‘across the pond’ we’re able to convert NTSC to PAL format or even PAL to NTSC depending on your video needs as well as to MP4 format to allow you to easily edit the video files on your computer after conversion.
Although we are based in Kinver, near Stourbridge ( West Midlands ), we are able to work remotely and offer a return postage service from £4.50 to allow you to send your videos to us for us to convert and then return to you with your new DVDs.
Finally sharing is caring and so we know that often you’ll be after multiple copies of your videos for friends and family and so we offer this at a discounted rate of just £3 per extra DVD copy.
