Presenting Brunhilda, a beautifully crafted one of a kind art doll made by Krista Joy,
“Brunhilda is an original one of a kind art doll, completely hand made from scratch with my usual method of wire skeleton, fabric body and hand sculpted clay face, along with my trademark movable polymer clay eyes. She also has one tiny polymer clay tooth.
Brunhilda wears cute plaid skirt and cape, as well as a patterned blouse. Her outfit is completed with a floppy faux leather hat finished with a sunflower corsage that matches her colours. Her skirt also had faux leather details. She carries with her a crotched basket full of goodies fit for miniature witchery! Her wool roving hair has been styled and her hat can be removed!
Brunhilda measures approximately 30cm in height, and has a shoulder span of about 6cm. She comes safely packed in her own handmade gift box that matches her colours.
This art doll is a beautiful but fragile item and is not suitable for children.
As she is ornamental Brunhilda cannot be washed.”
She joined us on location in Lawnswood Woods, Wordsley to give her character a little more of an at-home feel to the photographs.
