Himley Hall was the setting for a vintage themed Wedding on this scorching summers day. A nervous bride and an anxious groom awaited the beginning of their special day.

We couldn’t have asked for better weather or more beautiful surroundings. This vintage themed wedding fitted in perfectly with the art deco reception room used for weddings at Himley Hall.

Little touches like vintage cameras and vintage radios on the tables helped bring the theme together wonderfully and we felt that the photograph in ‘The Cinema Bar’ was crying out for a copy-cat style shot (see images).

A selection of cupcakes on vintage display stands and of course a Giant Cupcake in the centre truly helped put the icing on the cake (please excuse this awful pun!).

A beautiful three course turkey meal was put on by the staff at Himley Hall (we can vouch for just how good this was!) which was rounded off nicely with a great speech by the best man who delivered the happy couple a wedding poem, a nice unique twist on a traditional speech.

We left the Bride and Groom to enjoy their evening and wish them every happiness in their new lives together as Husband and Wife.

Thank you for choosing us to capture your wedding day!

  • Hello! I was bridesmaid at Sian’s and Dave’s wedding on Saturday. Unfortunately, there were no leaflets left with the access code on so I was wondering if you could send it to me? I don’t mind answering a few security questions if that’s necessary. Thanks, Jilly. p.s. from what I’ve seen so far, the pictures are beautiful.
