The Black Country Living Museum, West Midlands
A small selection of photographs we have taken at The Black Country Living Museum can be seen above.
A wedding like no other, is the only way I can think to describe the experience, photographing at The Black Country Living Museum.
This living museum is a perfect location for your special day. Although it may be difficult to picture at first, to summarise this is how well the museum integrated with the wedding;
- The Bride arrives via tram…
- Ceremony takes place in the old school…
- A short walk down the road to the bakery where the cake is displayed in the window…
- Food is catered by the fish and chip shop (with guests queueing up for them, a nice touch)…
- Reception takes place at The Bottle & Glass pub…
- Finally guests can collect some sweets from the sweet shop to take home with them.
The icing on the cake though had to be that some of the staff stayed to take part, including a policeman and a piano player who got everyone singing and dancing.
The staff are very polite and entertaining and with all this in mind you can start to see why it is one of the most enjoyable wedding experiences i’ve been privileged to take part in.
A perfect location for a truly different wedding!
