St Peters Church, Kinver by silhouette

St Peters Church silhouette kinver

“The hilltop church is on a very ancient site, and the current church, dedicated to St. Peter dates from the 12th century.” – source Wikipedia

As the sun starts to fade away for the day the remainder of the beautiful blue sky with just a few clouds provides a lovely background for this (near) silhouette shot of St Peters.

Behind the shot…

This image was taken on a Canon 7D with a Sigma 17-70mm Lens, ( f/9 1/640 ISO 200 ). The image was shot in RAW and deliberately slightly underexposed to hold the clock face and blue sky tones in the shot. It was then taken adjusted slightly to bring a small amount of light back into the shot and finally exported to photoshop where a small amount of light from the foreground buildings was removed. (see original image below).
