Dan photographed my wedding day and the end results were fantastic. He arrived early to start photographing our guests arrivals and took a lot of great shots. As well as the taking awesome photos throughout the day he captured all the small details at the church and the venue that we had put so much effort in to organising. His eye for detail is incredible. He was able to make us both feel relaxed and comfortable in our photos and it really shows in the end result. He went above and beyond to meet my requests for specific photos and captured the whole day perfectly. He was quick to upload photos to the online gallery, which offers various colour effects for the photos and allows people to purchase any that they want. Dan provided a truly wonderful service at an exceptional price and I would not hestitate to recommend him to anyone!

We used Daniel just before christmas, we have 3 children (aged 5,3 & 1 ) so it was never going to be an easy task, we were well looked after and Daniel was not afraid to look silly and wear silly hats to make the children laugh !! At the end of it we came away with some very beautiful photographs – some were formal and others were very natural – of us and our 3 children to treasure forver – thankyou

We booked a family portrait session with Daniel and we found that he has a high level of professionalism whilst putting us at ease in front of the camera – no mean task for the adults in the family! Had a brilliant photoshoot shoot with Daniel, he made my sisters and I feel totally at ease and he had a some great ideas. In comparison with other photographers, Daniel James Photography seemed to be a reasonable price and the service met our needs very well. We were all slightly nervous before but the shoot was very relaxed and afterwards we all felt that it had been a really fun experience which I imagine will be reflected in our final prints.

As a birthday gift my mum wanted a professional photo done of myself and my brother now that we are “all grown up”. My brother hates having his photo taken so he was naturally very nervous before having the photos done. Daniel was brilliant though. He was very professional while at the same time made us feel very relaxed and had us laughing away in no time. It was as though the camera was not there. I first used Daniel James Photography in 2008 as I wanted a portrait of my son done for Christmas presents. I was charmed with the no effort approach in making what could have been a difficult sitting effortless ( my son was then 10 months old). Following that I also have had a sitting for my daughter (12 months), which ended up including my now 4yr old son!! And since then used Daniel James for my wedding photographs.

This was a 25th wedding anniversary present from the children (who tell us it was excellent value for money). Never having been to a studio before we approached with some trepidation. As some of us have got some photographic experience we also wondered what extra a “professional” would add that we couldn’t. Daniel quickly set us at ease and put up with (or was that encouraged!) the silly giggles and excitement of 5 adults suddenly acting like teenagers. The time flashed by, we thoroughly enjoyed our time and the finished product well worth the effort.

Daniel James Photography provided myself with some product photography and would highly recommend to anyone. A speedy and friendly service was provided and will definately use again in the future.

We used Daniel for a surprise 60th birthday present for our mum. Despite him having to retrieve the 6 part of the helium balloons we brought with us from the rafters and having our nieces stand that little bit too close, Daniel was professional and friendly throughout the session. The session was a birthday present from a friend. My children and I had never been in a studio before and it was a bit difficult for one of my children relax but Daniel soon put smile on my very shy daughters face!!! Daniel is very patient with children both over exited and very shy and he put a lot of effort to make the photo shoot very enjoyable and a fantastic birthday gift. Greatly appreciated.

My husband and I received a ‘gold gift voucher’ pack for our 30th birthdays so that we could have a photoshoot with our young daughter (10 months old). We were impressed with the photoshoot experience: Daniel was extremely professional and worked hard to try and get our daughter to interact with the camera when she was a little unsure and distracted. He directed us well but was also happy to take all our own ideas and requests on board. We then returned to his office the following week to view the results, which was a nice touch. The photos are of very good quality and he has managed to capture some beautiful images for us of our daughter.
